Load Sheet, CG Envelope and Trim
Enter your aircraft's weights, arms, CG envelope and trim table. Get a load sheet with ZFW, TOW and landing weight, %MAC, an envelope graph and the trim setting.
Training data only. The values loaded here are for a fictional aircraft. Real limits, arms, envelope and trim tables come from your aircraft's approved weight and balance manual. Replace every value before using this for anything but practice.
How the maths works
- Moment = weight × arm. CG arm = total moment ÷ total weight.
- %MAC = (CG arm − LEMAC) ÷ MAC length × 100.
- ZFW = everything except fuel. TOW = ZFW + ramp fuel − taxi fuel. Landing weight = TOW − trip fuel.
- Fuel is held at one arm here. On a real aircraft the fuel arm changes with the quantity in each tank, so use the fuel index table from your manual.
- The trim setting is read from your table by linear interpolation. Real stabilizer trim comes from the flight crew operating manual.
