NOTAM Decoder and Route Check
Paste an official ICAO-format NOTAM. See it decoded, drawn on a map, and checked against your route. Nothing you paste leaves your browser.
Example only, not a real NOTAM. Always get NOTAMs from the official source for each country.
How the check works
The Q-line of an ICAO NOTAM carries the subject code, the lower and upper limits in flight levels, and a centre point with a radius in nautical miles. This tool draws that circle, then measures the closest distance between it and your great-circle route. If the route passes inside the radius and your cruise level is between the limits, it marks the route red and proposes a waypoint to go around.
Limits. It checks one NOTAM at a time, ignores the schedule field, and treats the area as a circle. Airports come from the site's airport file. Use it for training, and confirm everything with official sources.
